Pass-catching roles in Denver

As a rookie, tight end Julius Thomas made a splash during the Denver Broncos' training camp, but he has been a non-factor ever since. He didn't really have a chance to shine last season, because he got hurt and the Broncos rode free-agent signees Jacob Tamme and Joel Dreessen ahead of Thomas on the depth chart. However, coach John Fox recently said he thinks Thomas can carve out a bigger role in 2013, according to Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post.
