Financing Panthers' stadium renovations

The Carolina Panthers are aiming to do a $250-million renovation to Bank of America stadium, but they are having trouble convincing the state government to contribute $62.5 million towards that effort. Governor Pat McCrory said Monday that no state money would be available for the renovation project, according to Cleve Wootson of the Charlotte Observer.
