Safeties on Washington's radar?

The Washington Redskins' run to the NFC East title in 2012 was at least a mild surprise to most, and much of the credit does have to go to the Shanaclan for building an offense around their new franchise QB Robert Griffin III. However, the defense also deserves its share of the praise, and it's especially noteworthy considering that the club lost front-seven defenders Brian Orakpo and Adam Carriker early on during the campaign. With those two returning for 2013, that's one area of instant improvement. As for the secondary, they may need to do some work this offseason.
