Terrell Thomas to safety?

New York Giants CB Terrell Thomas has now undergone ACL surgery three times, and while he reached a deal to come back to the team for 2013 on a reduced salary, the Giants did not extend themselves so far that cutting him prior to the start of the season would be a burden. Carolina Panthers LB Thomas Davis returned to playing that position after three ACL surgeries, but for Thomas, getting back to his previous level of play at CB may be too much to ask. So should he move back to safety?
