Soon after word came Friday that Charles Woodson was being released by the Green Bay Packers, we touched on some logical landing spots for the veteran. In the meantime, Richard Sherman made a sales pitch to draw Woodson to the Seattle Seahawks via NFL Total Access, saying, "Seattle -- We would love to have you."

Of course, there aren't many teams that wouldn't love to have the versatile DB on their roster, and the Seahawks appear to be legit title contenders, which is the primary thing for which Woodson is looking. However, there isn't really a starting job available, so there may be more logical landing spots.

ESPN's John Clayton pegged the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots as the best fits.
