The Philadelphia Eagles plunked down a second-round pick to select Stanford tight end Zach Ertz in this year's draft. Although he has had a very limited role early on this season, the rookie has posted some intriguing numbers. He has only been targeted 11 times in five games and hasn't had more than two catches in a game, but he has averaged a whopping 21.4 yards per catch, pulled in four passes of at least 24 yards and registered a first down on all seven catches. He may be in for an increasing role as the season progresses, perhaps sooner than later.
