Packers' plans at TE

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora took a long look at which players he thinks will be tossed aside by their current teams this offseason due to salary-cap issues. Among the myriad players he listed is Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley, who is owed $4.4 million in base salary and a $3 million roster bonus.

"At some point Aaron Rodgers is going to get a contract in line with how exceptional he is," La Canfora wrote. "Finley has proven to be a controversial figure and this team finds pass catchers in all regions of the draft. League sources expect Finley to be elsewhere."

We can count the Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers amongst the teams that could use a bump in tight end production, but time will tell how much those teams would be willing to pony up for a guy who has yet to turn his talent into reliable production.
