Lacy poised for better Week 2

Green Bay Packers running back Eddy Lacy had a mediocre game in his NFL debut against the San Francisco 49ers, recording 41 yards on 14 carries, losing one fumble and scoring one touchdown. Interestingly, even with Lacy's lackluster Week 1, his performance still graded out as the best among rookie runners, as he had the most snaps, carries, and yards of the first-year players. Though he scored a TD, the Packers expect him to improve his yards per carry and ball protection in Week 2 in order to have a bigger impact on offense against the Washington Redskins.
