The San Francisco 49ers used a fourth-round pick to select Louisiana Tech WR Quinton Patton. He seems like a good fit for the heady Niners, because he runs sharp routes and in college proved he could create separation. At the time, the Niners had plenty of depth at WR, but with Michael Crabtree and Mario Manningham out for the foreseeable future, Patton could have a chance to make some noise this season. However, that chance may be further down the road, not just because he only saw four snaps in the opener, but because Kyle Williams and Marlon Moore are ahead of him on the depth chart at this point.
