Any hope for Jags' passing game?

There were a number of legitimate reasons why the Jacksonville Jaguars struggled to pass the ball on Sunday -- beyond the general talent malaise of their roster. Justin Blackmon was absent due to his suspension, they couldn't establish a rushing game to keep the Kansas City Chiefs D honest, and Blaine Gabbert was playing through a painful thumb injury. Not surprisingly, Gabbert couldn't connect with his top receiving target Cecil Shorts, who mustered just three catches (all in the fourth quarter) for 40 yards, despite targeting him 11 times.
