Back in 2011, the New Orleans Saints dropped a first-round pick on running back Mark Ingram, but he has not come close to living up to the hype. He's battled injuries and averaged a very pedestrian 3.9 yards per carry each of his first two seasons in the NFL. Factors outside of his control have played a role in limiting his upside: offensive wiz Sean Payton's suspension, tough backfield competition from a number of quality RBs on the roster, and a defense that often left the Saints in passing situations that better fit guys like Darren Sproles.
