The Cincinnati Bengals gave Andy Dalton a contract extension that could last six years and pay him up to $115 million, though only $17 million of it is guaranteed. That's the way contracts go for quarterbacks like Dalton, who rack up stats and regular-season wins, yet are generally mediocre in advanced metrics and can't win in the postseason.
