A source tells Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com on Wednesday that Seattle receiver Sidney Rice has decided to retire from football due to a history of concussions, and that news is now official. The 27-year-old Rice ends his NFL career with 243 receptions, 3,592 yards and 30 touchdowns.
So how does Rice's departure impact the Seahawks receiving corps heading into 2014? For one, it could help a couple receivers solidify a spot on the team.
