The Green Bay Packers drafted California tight end Richard Rodgers in the third round on Friday. He has some long-term potential but isn't likely to make an impact as a pass-catcher as a rookie. They also have Andrew Quarless and Brandon Bostick in the mix, so there is depth at the position. Nonetheless, the Packers appear to be fully open to bringing Jermichael Finley back as a free agent, if he ends up receiving medical clearance following his neck surgery.
