Nate Washington has proved to be a steady and reliable wide receiver during the course of his NFL career. Since spending 2005 on the practice squad, he has never missed a game in eight seasons, and he racked up a respectable 919 receiving yards in 2013. The question at hand for the Tennessee Titans is whether a steady and reliable receiver is worth a $4.8 million cap hit in 2014, the final year of Washington's contract with the team. That alone puts him in jeopardy of being released, and Washington seems to understand that.
