Cleveland Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer became one of the early-season surprises in 2013 when he performed well in three consecutive wins after replacing Brandon Weeden in Week 3. He went down with a season-ending ACL injury in Week 5 and so the Browns didn't get a truly complete chance at seeing if the previously anonymous QB could be a franchise one.
