When the Green Bay Packers finally committed to addressing their RB corps via the draft in 2013, they hoped that they would have a 1-2 punch with Eddie Lacy as the power back and Johnathan Franklin as the speedy change-of-pace option. Franklin showed some of his upside when he exploded for 126 combined yards and a touchdown in Week 3, but a pair of fumbles quickly put him in the doghouse before a concussion ended his season.
