Lions focused on former head coaches?

The Detroit Lions have been taking their time interviewing candidates to replace deposed head coach Jim Schwartz, though candidates are starting to pile up. They have spoken with Jim Caldwell, Ken Whisehunt remains the front-runner, and they hope to interview Jay Gruden. Per ESPN NFL Insider Ed Werder, former Tennessee Titans coach Mike Munchak is slated to meet with the Lions on Friday. More candidates likely will be added to the list in the coming days.
