After going 2-14 in 2012, Kansas City hired head coach Andy Reid and general manager John Dorsey, whose first big move was to trade a 2014 second-round pick for quarterback Alex Smith.
In 2013, the Chiefs got off to a 9-0 start and went to the playoffs, but they dropped five of their last seven regular-season games and lost to the Colts in heartbreaking fashion in their wild-card game.
ESPN.com's Jeff Chadiha recently wrote a piece stating that no team in the league faces more pressure to hit it big when the draft arrives next month than Kansas City.
