McShay Mock Draft 1.0: New Orleans Saints

What a difference having Sean Payton back on the sideline makes. New Orleans’ offense has been fantastic this season, led by Drew Brees and pending free-agent TE Jimmy Graham. The Saints did well with limited picks in the 2013 draft, picking up Kenny Vaccaro (first round) and Kenny Stills (fifth round), who has been a great deep threat. The Saints still have issues winning on the road, but with a full complement of picks in the 2014 draft, should have a chance to really improve their team.

Todd McShay released his first 2014 mock draft Wednesday, and in doing so identified the biggest areas of need for the Saints. New Orleans needs another offensive tackle and help at outside linebacker, corner and safety. Here’s who McShay believes will provide the best fit for the Saints in Round 1.
