Despite the fact Michael Crabtree and Mario Manningham have missed most of the season, San Francisco has done enough to win 10 games. Colin Kaepernick has been up and down in his first full season as the starting quarterback, but the 49ers appear headed back to the postseason. San Francisco’s defense is as strong as ever, and got a boost with the return of Aldon Smith. Eric Reid, the 49ers’ 2013 first-round pick, has been a standout rookie at safety and helped to shore up the back end of that defense. San Francisco has one of the deepest rosters in the NFL, with 2013 fourth-round pick Marcus Lattimore basically taking a redshirt season, but needs remain.
