After a disappointing season that provided no clarity to their QB situation -- the Brandon Weeden era appears to be over as quickly as it began -- the Browns are back at the draft in a familiar position. They’re the owners of a high pick looking for assets to aid a roster that (yet again) finished in the bottom third of the league.

Add in the first-rounder obtained from the Colts in the Trent Richardson trade, and the Browns should be able to continue to stock that pantry come draft day.

But if they hold onto the No. 6 and No. 23 overall picks, as the standings currently dictate, who should they select?

Todd McShay released his first 2014 mock draft Wednesday, and in doing so identified the biggest areas of need for the Browns. The most urgent: QB, running back, receiver, corner and offensive guard.
