Juco OT Kondolo finds best fit
By Mason Kelley
(Fresno, Calif./Fresno City College), the toughest part of the recruiting process was picking which schools to visit.
“I had to go off word of mouth for the visits,” the 6-foot-4, 290-pound offensive tackle said.

Once he took his visits, he was able to get a good sense for each school.
“I actually saw what the schools had to offer, talked to the players, met the players,” Kondolo said.
In the end, he decided Nebraska was the best fit. He gave the Cornhuskers a verbal commitment Thursday night.
“It just felt like the right move,” he said. “My mom felt comfortable with the coaches and so did I. I could tell they wanted me a lot.”
The three-star prospect also took trips to Illinois, BYU, Tennessee and Utah State, but his Jan. 18 visit to Nebraska eventually led to his commitment.
“All of the coaching staffs were great people,” he said. “I just prayed about it and Nebraska felt like the right move. I’m very relieved to have a decision made and for this process to be over.”
