Darrell Daniels (Oakley, Calif./Freedom) wanted to make two things clear after his official visit to Washington.
The 6-foot-3, 211-pound enjoyed his visit, and he has taken his last trip before signing with the Huskies on Feb. 6.
Instead of spreading the news to reporters through a Sunday full of phone calls, Daniels posted a couple of quotes on Twitter.
“All I have to say about my trip is I had a great time and I can't wait to come down and join the team! #godawgs,” he said in tweet Sunday afternoon.
Rated the nation’s No. 150 prospect in the ESPN 300, Daniels was one of six official visitors in Seattle this weekend.
His decision to shut down the recruiting process should reassure Washington fans, who are excited about the offensive firepower in the Huskies’ 2013 class.
“I’m not taking any other visits,” be said in a follow-up tweet.
