Darius Allensworth (Romoland, Calif./Heritage) is still committed to California, but the 5-foot-11, 174-pound cornerback is doing everything he can to make sure the Golden Bears are the best fit for him.
Allensworth took an official visit to Wisconsin in October and spent this past weekend at Washington State.
"It was great," Allensworth said of the trip to see the Cougars. "I'm glad I went. I had a good time and Coach [Mike] Leach is a cool dude. I'm definitely looking at Washington State and I loved it, actually. The players were cool and the program was really family-oriented. And Pullman was a cool city."
