Bryan Driskell (McKinney, Texas/Boyd) rushed for nearly 5,300 yards and 61 touchdowns for his high school varsity career. If there’s one thing the speedy running back knows, it’s how to gain yards on the ground.
Driskell decided to take his talents to a place that specializes in running the ball Wednesday night. Driskell verbally committed to Air Force and became the seventh Texan to commit to the Falcons in the 2013 recruiting class. He is the Falcons’ 22nd commitment overall.
“It feels amazing,” said Driskell, now a shade under 5-foot-9 and 185 pounds. “After all the hard work you put in over the years, and then being able to commit to the college you wanted to go to, it’s a good feeling. Knowing my parents won’t have to pay for college, it’s a huge blessing.”
