Wren talks signing with Cowboys

ESPN JC 100 defensive end Sam Wren (Yuma, Ariz./Arizona Western College) gave a description of junior college football that many of his juco peers would agree with.

“It’s a grind man,” Wren said. “It’s a grind, for real.”

What felt like an eternal struggle at times ultimately had a happy ending for Wren, the No. 13 juco player in the country, as he signed with Oklahoma State early Wednesday morning. Wren, a 6-foot-3, 255-pound end, joined juco offensive tackle Brandon Garrett (Athens, Texas/Trinity Valley Community College) as a mid-year transfer.
