Brett Carter (Tacoma, Wash./Franklin Pierce) walked into the Dempsey Indoor with his parents to watch Washington practice. As soon as he walked in he was greeted by Peter Sirmon, the Huskies’ linebackers coach.
About 20 minutes into practice, defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox made sure he took a minute to say hello.
The 6-foot-3, 199-pound outside linebacker was in Seattle for a quick unofficial visit Sunday.
