It took the Idaho Vandals several days to bring Paul Petrino in as the newest head coach. It took a matter of moments for them to gain a commitment from running back Isaiah Saunders (Elk Grove, Calif./Pleasant Grove).
Saunders is the younger brother of Oklahoma standout receiver Jalen Saunders and the son of former Vandals wide receiver Walter Saunders. When the staff at Idaho extended Saunders an offer Wednesday morning, it didn't take long for the running back to become the newest member of the Vandals' 2013 recruiting class.
"They really talked to my dad during recruiting, because I was worried about school stuff," Saunders said. "On Wednesday morning, he told me they offered and I committed on the spot."
