Head coach Rich Rodriguez is doing what he can to get his quarterback of the future in this 2013 recruiting class. After receiving a verbal commitment from junior college quarterback Jesse Scroggins (Torrance, Calif./El Camino College), the Wildcats now hold commitments from three signal-callers in this class, as Scroggins joins Anu Solomon (Las Vegas, Nev./Bishop Gorman) and Thomas Woodson (Monroeville, Penn./Gateway).
El Camino College head coach John Featherstone spoke with Scroggins on Tuesday and confirmed the commitment that the 6-foot-3, 210-pound quarterback made while on an official visit to Arizona.
"He said he's really excited," Featherstone said of Scroggins. "He said it was a good trip and he's excited about going down there and being in the Pac-12 again."
