A couple of 2015 standouts added scholarship offers on Thursday, as wide receiver Desean Holmes (Mission Hills, Calif./Alemany) picked one up from UCLA and athlete Kyahva Tezino (Los Angeles/Salesian) added one from SMU.
It was the third offer for Holmes, as the Bruins joined Houston and Utah as programs that has offered at this point. He has LSU and USC out front on his wish list and has said in the past that he would likely jump on an early offer from the Trojans.
It was the first for Tezino, who made a name for himself this season as an impact player on a loaded Salesian defense. Tezino's offer came shortly after his highlight film was produced, and could be a sign of things to come for the 6-foot-1, 185-pound athlete, who stars at defensive end and outside linebacker.
Both players still have an opportunity to add to their sophomore highlights, as Alemany and Salesian are still alive in the playoffs and looking to make deep runs.
