ESPN Watch List quarterback Brandon Dawkins (Westlake Village, Calif./Oaks Christian) had an opportunity to watch an offensive explosion last weekend, as Oregon and USC traded touchdowns for 60 minutes. Dawkins was in attendance for his first USC game this season and came away impressed by both programs.
"Both teams are great teams," he said. "Being there and seeing the pace of Oregon's offense was totally 'wow.' They get lined up so fast that it's tough for any defense to match up. They have that theory where they have to score every 10 plays. Obviously USC played well, too, with the two receivers they have and Matt Barkley.
"From a quarterback standpoint, I like the fast-paced Oregon offense and I like the pro-style offense that gets you ready for the NFL that USC runs."
