Junior defensive end Greg Hoyd (Murrieta, Calif./Vista Murrieta) picked up an offer from the Pac-12 on Thursday, as Utah extended an offer to the 6-foot-1, 191-pound 2014 standout.
It's the third scholarship offer for Hoyd, who adds it to earlier ones from Duke and New Mexico State, and he continues to be excited by the early attention.
"It's definitely early, but I did my work over the summer and my sophomore year," Hoyd said. "I had film from the first couple of games my junior year and coaches are starting to like it. I love the recruiting process and it's good to get started early."
