Cal snags first 2014 commit in ATH Koa Farmer

From an early age, 2014 athlete Koa Farmer (Sherman Oaks, Calif./Notre Dame) labeled Cal as his dream school. Fortunately for the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Farmer, the Golden Bears saw him as one of their top 2014 recruits, and on Wednesday, Farmer's dream became reality.

"I'm so happy," Farmer said after his verbal commitment to California. "I'm really happy. You have no idea."

Farmer and his father spoke to the Golden Bears staff on Wednesday, just a few days after an offer was extended during an unofficial visit this past weekend. It was Farmer's first trip to the Berkeley, Calif. campus, as he took an unofficial visit with his father, as well as teammate and fellow Cal recruit, Khalfani Muhammad.
