Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure is off to a terrific start this season, thanks in large part to sophomore quarterback Ricky Town and junior tight end Bryce Dixon. In fact, one of the few things that can rival the Seraphs' hot start is Dixon's presence on the recruiting trail. After picking up his first offer from Miami at the beginning of the season, Dixon added an offer from Washington late last week, then was offered by California, Colorado and Ohio State from Monday night through Tuesday morning.
While Town hasn't picked up his first scholarship offer, the 2015 quarterback has heard from schools across the country, including Boston College, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma State and UCLA, among others. This weekend, Town and Dixon will take advantage of their bye week and will visit Miami on unofficial visits.
Town is plenty familiar with the Hurricanes, as he was named quarterback MVP at a Miami camp this past summer. During the visit, Town had an opportunity to tour the campus with the Miami coaches, including head coach Al Golden and offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch.
