Three-star safety James Johnson (Upland, Calif./Upland) woke up Saturday morning following a big league-opening victory and finally revealed what he's known since the summer: Arizona State is the place for him.
Johnson committed to ASU on Saturday morning after talking to the Sun Devil coaches.
"It's been a long time coming for me," the 6-foot-2, 198-pound Johnson said. "I've been on the hush-hush with this but I knew ASU was the place for me when I visited during the summer. I love the campus. I love the academic advisors. The coaching staff is great, too, and they're building a great program."
