Cornerback L.J. Moore (Fresno, Calif./Central) is one of the more sought-after uncommitted players in California, and the 6-foot, 164-pound athlete gave Notre Dame the first opportunity to make a statement with an official visit over the weekend.
"It was my first official visit, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But it went great," Moore said. "The atmosphere and the fans and the tradition with the school were just great."
Moore is plenty familiar with what Notre Dame has to offer. The Fighting Irish recruit California hard and their national presence has not gone unnoticed by the cornerback. But even with that knowledge, Moore said he still wasn't prepared for the trip.
