As Mason Friedline walked around the Yale Bowl, he thought about the history.
The stadium, which hosted its first event in 1914, made an impact on the 6-foot-5, 280-pound lineman (Shoreline, Wash./King’s) who spent time this week touring Yale and Harvard.
“There’s so much history in these programs, it’s really cool to check out,” he said. “It was pretty cool to see the Yale Bowl and hear from both sides the tradition of the Yale-Harvard football game. That’s the original game right there. That’s huge.”
