When Cody Moorhead was 7 years old, his father, Todd, signed him up for football.
Even when he was younger, the 6-foot-4, 258-pound defensive end from Renton (Wash.) Hazen High School was bigger than most of the kids his age.
“I’ve always been a bigger kid,” he said. “When I was smaller I was a little rounder, if you know what I mean.”
