Offensive lineman Zach Banner (Lakewood, Wash./Lakes) took his third official visit of the year to Notre Dame this past weekend. The big tackle has previously visited Michigan and Oklahoma.
“I had a great time, Notre Dame is a very good school,” Banner said. “The tradition really sets it apart from other places and the game atmosphere was incredible. They have a good team and I think they’re definitely headed in the right direction.
“I like the coaching staff a lot and I fit in well with the guys on the team. Academically, you can’t go wrong and a degree from Notre Dame allows you a ton of options after football. There was some serious talent in the stands and a highlight of the visit was hanging out with all my boys who I consider friends now.”
