Offensive lineman Steven Moore (Elk Grove, Calif.) took his final official visit this past weekend to Cal and is hoping to make his college choice by the end of the week.
Moore previously has taken official visits to Boise State, Colorado and UCLA. The visit to Berkeley was close enough that Moore was able to drive to it.
“Yeah, Cal is just an hour-and-a-half away,” Moore said. “It was a good visit, a lot different than what I expected. I had a preconceived idea of what Berkeley was going to be like. I heard stories of it being a little different but it seemed like a normal college town to me and I really liked it there.
