Darius Powe (Lakewood, Calif.) went into his weekend visit to Cal with Oregon State in a comfortable lead. Before the visit was half over, he was a Bear.
Powe took an official visit to Oregon State in November, and the Beavers seemed to be in a good position to land the talented receiver.
“Oregon State was definitely my leader but Cal was such a great fit for me,” Powe said. “I didn’t know I was going to like it as much as I did, but I knew right away it was the best place for me. I actually committed on Saturday and I’m very excited to be a Bear right now.
