Michigan didn’t seem like much of a player for ESPNU 150 offensive lineman Josh Garnett (Puyallup, Wash./Puyallup) prior to his official visit this past weekend. After leaving Ann Arbor, that has definitely changed.
Garnett, No. 42 in the ESPNU 150 and the No. 8 offensive tackle in the nation, isn’t close to making a decision but expect the Wolverines to be in this one until the very end.
“It was way better than I thought it would be,” Garnett said. “To be honest, I don’t know what I thought it was going to be like but it really exceeded my expectations. I think the fan support, the academics and just all the tradition at Michigan is what really blew me away. I felt very comfortable there and I’m definitely going to be giving Michigan a long, hard look.
