If there is one thing Isaac Dotson (Bellevue, Wash./Newport) stressed throughout the recruiting process, it was that he wanted to play quarterback in college.
When the 6-foot-3, 210-pound dual-threat passer committed to Nevada in June, he thought Chris Ault’s pistol offense would give him that chance.
“The whole situation in Reno, it was unexpected and it caused me to do a lot of thinking about what’s really important to me,” Dotson said.
Then, when Ault decided to retire, Dotson started to think about his options. An official visit prompted a change of heart.
