Chris Martin has a long history with Charlie Weis.
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound defensive end gave a verbal commitment to the coach when he was at Notre Dame. Later, they were reunited when Martin was at Florida and Weis was the school’s offensive coordinator.
Now, with Weis at Kansas, Martin decided to give a second verbal commitment to the coach after wrapping up his junior college career at City College of San Francisco.
