Wide receiver Jeff Farrar (Upland, Calif./Upland) has been to all of UCLA's home football games this season and his interest in the Bruins increased with each one. On Saturday, after UCLA's big win over USC, Farrar couldn't contain himself any longer and made a verbal commitment to the UCLA coaching staff.
"This game was honestly the game that made me want to go to UCLA," Farrar said. "I've been watching them all year and this game shows that the change is happening now. It's not taking three or four years. It's happening in Coach Mora's first year."
Farrar was in contact with several programs from the ACC, Pac-12 and SEC, but the offer from the Bruins was the only one he needed to make his decision.
