It's safe to say that athlete Chans Cox (Lakeside, Ariz./Blue Ridge) is buying what the Arizona State coaching staff is selling. The 6-foot-2, 225-pound two-way standout jumped at the chance to join the 2013 recruiting class for the hometown Sun Devils and has raved about every experience with head coach Todd Graham and the rest of the staff. Over the weekend, he took his official visit to Arizona State. The result was more of the same.
"It was awesome," Cox said of his time at Arizona State. "The game was really exciting towards the end, but obviously it would have been better if they won. After that, we got to go to dinner with Coach Graham and got to spend a lot of time talking to him."
Cox was joined by fellow official visitors Tre Flowers (Converse, Tex./Judson) -- another Arizona State verbal commitment -- and Tatum Taylor (Seattle/O'Dea). But perhaps more importantly for Cox, a long list of unofficial visitors, including plenty of Sun Devils' commitments, were in attendance.
