Running back Terrell Newby (West Hills, Calif./Chaminade) took his first official visit over the weekend and the Nebraska Cornhuskers made a statement.
"It was a pretty great expereience for me going out there," said Newby, who has been to Nebraska several times, though never for a game. "The biggest thing that stood out was the game-day experience--walking out of the tunnel with 85,000 screaming fans. What really stood out was the fans. I don't think there are any fans like them. They're like that if it's 20 degrees out."
Newby made the trip with his mother, father and younger brother. On the previous trip, he was with his father and was only able to show his mother video clips of the trip.
