Wide receiver Ryan Smith (Las Vegas/Bishop Gorman) took his first official visit this past weekend, as he visited Utah State. He picked a good time to do so, as Utah State knocked off Utah for the first time since 1997.
“It was great,” Smith said of the trip. “Obviously that’s a college town where everybody goes to the games.”
Smith said it didn’t take long to realize that there is a significant difference between Las Vegas and Logan, Utah, but the small town atmosphere didn’t rattle him.
