With class of 2013 quarterbacks flying off the board this past spring and summer, attention is already focused on the 2014 crop as the recruiting timeline for that particular position continues to push forward.
One quarterback for fans to keep an eye on in next year’s class is Drew Doxtator (Henderson, Nev./Foothill), as college coaches are already well aware of the 6-foot-3, 175-pound signal caller. Recruiting is picking up in a big way for the junior quarterback, as 37 schools have already expressed interest. Though he hasn’t been offered yet, some of the schools standing out at this point include Boise State, Florida State, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, UCLA and Wisconsin.
Doxtator said Nebraska is the school showing the most early interest. With the Cornhuskers out West to face the Bruins this past weekend, the quarterback took the opportunity to scout out two of his early leaders.
